Skip Haffner works as the Global Relationships Manager in Boeing & Jeppesen's Digital Aviation Research & Technology group. In his current role, Skip is helping investigate new technologies that can be applied to existing and future business opportunities for Boeing’s Digital Aviation Organization. Skip began his career as a Flight Officer Intern at United Airline's Washington Dulles Flight Operations office.

Skip graduated Cum Laude from Kent State University with a bachelor of science in Aerospace Flight Technology and earned an MBA from Durham University. After college, Skip worked with the business consulting firm; D. Appleton Company where he began as a Business Modeling Technician. Skip worked his way up the ranks at D. Appleton and in seven years was a Principal Consultant. In this role, he led teams of consultants on numerous business engineering engagements in large organizations such as Conoco and Brigham Young University.

In 1999, he received the D. Appleton Company Employee of the Year Award. In 2002 Skip moved to Jeppesen to reconnect with his passion for aviation. Skip worked as a Systems Engineer to develop and release Jeppesen’s Electronic Flight Bag product for commercial and business aviation markets. He then worked as a Senior Systems Engineer on Jeppesen's premier flight planning product, JetPlan.

In 2002 he received the President's Pin Award. For the last 10 years, he has been working in Jeppesen’s Research and Development focusing on digital solutions that will bring new improvements and operational efficiencies to Jeppesen’s airline customers.
