STARTUPS

PASSES
1. What pass should I buy if I want to represent startup at Infoshare?
This year we have two options for startups:
- Startup Contest Pass
for seed and early stage projects applying for the Startup Contest. This is a free pass with limited access, but a first step would be applying for it. We will check if you are a truly innovative tech project at a seed or early stage before we invite you to join Infoshare 2022 conference. It is one pass per startup ONLY. If you need more passes, you can buy either Startup Pass(es) or any other pass(es).
- Startup Pass
for all stage projects. This is a paid pass with full access, but anyway, the first step would be applying for it. We will check if you are a truly innovative tech project before we invite you to join Infoshare 2022 conference as a startup. It is one pass per person, but you can order more passes and transfer them to your team members.
Details between the Startup Contest Pass and the Startup Pass could be found here.
If the conference is limited in the number of participants that can enter the venue due to the Polish government restrictions, paid passes would take precedence (it is not applicable to the 20 Startup Contest Semifinalists).
2. Is the Startup Pass a right pass for me?
Infoshare agrees with Steve Blank's definition: a startup is an organization formed to search for a repeatable and scalable business model and a business model describes how your company creates, delivers, and captures value. The startup offers its own innovative product. Companies offering services, like consulting and programming services (e.g. software houses) or projects run by established companies/corporations can not be named startups in this definition. And, one more thing, Startup Contest Pass is available only for seed and early-stage projects applying for the Startup Contest 2022. If you are a more mature project, it is not for you.
3. What do the Startup Contest Pass and the Startup Pass include?
You can check what each of the passes includes here. There are differences between the Startup Contest Pass and the Startup Pass.
4. Is one Startup Contest Pass or Startup Pass for one person only?
Yes, one Startup Contest Pass and one Startup Pass pass give access to the Infoshare conference for one person only. What is more Startup Contest Pass is also limited to one per project, even if a bigger team plans to attend. If you need more passes, you can either purchase Startup Pass(es) or use any other pass we have available for the 2022 edition.

EXPO
1. Who can have a booth at Infoshare Startup Expo?
Infoshare Virtual Startup Expo is for startups only. To get the booth you need to mark the right checkbox in the Startup Contest Pass or Startup Pass form and be accepted as a startup. Just a quick reminder: Infoshare qualifies startups as a project that has their own innovative product. Expo is not for enterprises or companies offering services, like software houses or consulting agencies. Infoshare reserves the right to accept or refuse the Startup Expo application in connection to acceptance or refusal of the Startup Contest Pass or Startup Pass. Refusal might occur in case of applying by a Participant who is not a Startup in the Infoshare definition to be found in Regulation of Infoshare 2022 Conference.
2. How does Infoshare virtual Startup Expo look like?
Startup Expo is a virtual booth with startup name and logotype, webpage address, startup’s country of registration, link to one video material (no limit when it comes to its length), and startup/product description. Startup Expo 2022 will be live on September 19th. You can learn more how it looks like here.

CONTEST
1. Who can apply for the Infoshare Startup Contest?
The Infoshare Startup Contest is open for seed (working on the product) or early-stage (having an MVP but before validated business model) startups. It is not for startups at the concept or growth stage. The Startup Contest is geographically and industrially agnostic.
2. How can I apply for Infoshare Startup Contest?
There are 5 steps to apply for Infoshare Startup Contest:
- Choose Startup Contest Pass (free pass) or Startup Pass (paid pass with full access to the conference)
- Either click register for Infoshare 2022 or login if you already have an account in our system.

- Attach your pitch deck to the form
- Click "Submit"
Please do remember that you must be either seed or early-stage startup to apply for the Infoshare Startup Contest!
3. What should a good pitch deck include?
Here you can find an example of a good pitch deck, but this is only an example. Feel free to attach any other file with information that helps us understand your product and business strategy. If you want to show either video or audio materials, include links in your pitch deck. One thing you need to consider is evaluation criteria: business potential, team and product level of innovation - you need to cover them in your deck.
4. What are the selection criteria?
Choosing 20 Semifinalists will be based on 3 criteria
- the product business potential,
- the team – its structure, experience and time spent on working together,
- the level of product innovation (meaning also changes in comparison to the products already present on the market).
Choosing 5 Finalists will be based on 4 criteria

- the team – its structure, experience and time spent on working together,
- the level of product innovation (meaning also changes in comparison to the products already present on the market),
- performance - startup presentation during the semifinal pitch.
Choosing Winners will be based in 4 criteria
- the product business potential,
- the team – its structure, experience and time spent on working together,
- the level of product innovation (meaning also changes in comparison to the products already present on the market),
