Quantum Finance - utilizing the quantum parallelize for the demanding computational tasks in finance

We believe that quantum computing may be THE technology that will change the financial industry. During our presentation we will present the current state of the adoption of quantum technology, we will show what kind of business problems can be effectively solved using quantum computers, and give examples of existing applications in finance. 

Since one year ago we established BNP Paribas R&D Quantum Team we will also share our own experience: how we work and the results we have achieved.

In the second part of the speech, we will show a detailed view of the Quantum Monte Carlo algorithm. We will start with an introduction to quantum computing with a focus on why this will be a breakthrough technology. Then we introduce the Monte Carlo method in finance, and how we can harness the power of quantum computing to speed up the calculation. Next, a detailed description of the Quantum algorithm for pricing FX Asian Option on gates-base quantum computers will be presented. In the last part of the speech, we focus on the impact of quantum computers on the demanding computational tasks in finance.
