Pavol Hronsky

An applied mathematician who shortly after finishing studies followed his other passion and turned into a software developer. Started as a java developer working across different teams, slowly uncovering different layers of a software development and deployment. After realizing that many issues originate with an unstable, or rather sometimes accidentally changing underlying deployment environment, Pavol started a search for technologies that would help him and his team to overcome these issues. The investigation led him to Docker containers. He shifted his professional focus into an infrastructure specialist and nowadays a Head of Container Automation in Nordea. Additionally to his leadership duties he spends his time by advocating Kubernetes and DevOps mindset in his workplace.
