How to build websites/products with great analytics in mind?

Today, almost everyone would like to know as much as possible about their website and its performance. We are always looking for new indicators, monitoring basics. But, when building new projects, websites, do we do that with analytics in mind? From my experience, that’s not necessarily the case. Many companies use technologies that are currently trendy, without realising that certain solutions are not conducive to the effective use of analytics. Of course, I am not talking about building in-house analytics; many companies cannot afford to do that. After talking to thousands of clients, together with our developers I gathered practical tips on how to build websites/applications whose activities will be easily measurable using external tools.
