Developing Highly performant Java apps to Kubernetes and Serverless

Java is the programming language of the enterprise; that's a fact. But it’s also a fact that things like Kubernetes and patterns like Serverless are here to stay. So, how can we reconcile these two worlds to make developers' lives easy? In this workshop, You will get your hands dirty and learn how to use modern Java frameworks and runtimes to develop and deploy fast, high-performance apps on Kubernetes and Serverless platforms. The focus will be on deploying containers. We will look at the choice of frameworks the tooling developers need for the deployment patterns. We will be using Google Cloud as a Cloud environment, but since the standard way of packaging the apps will be containers, the learnings from this workshop can be transferred to other cloud platforms.
