Simulations of space missions - preparation for the colonization of the Moon and Mars

15:35 - 15:55, 14th of October (Thursday) 2021/

A simulated space mission is a kind of mission that, despite the fact that it is carried out on Earth, tries to resemble the environment and procedures of missions that one day may be taking place on the surface of the Moon or Mars. These missions enable a variety of tests and experiments as well as check how crew members cope with isolation. Based on the data from simulated space missions, scientists create their papers on space missions and, in consequence, invent newer and better solutions that can help us colonize the next celestial body one day.
