Sometimes it is believed that most of the technology used in the banking industry is “old” or “legacy” technology, while “dot-com” companies use the latest and greatest leading-edge technologies.  In reality however, the capital markets industry is very competitive, and to stay ahead of the competition, Nordea Capital Markets uses some very leading edge and exciting technologies, including grid computing, big data technologies, low-latency hardware and software, and much more. This presentation will give a brief overview of the technologies used in Nordea Capital Markets and how they have helped Nordea be successful.
