The Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Revolution in China

16:15 - 16:35, 9th of May (Thursday) 2019/ Growth

With China’s Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Policy there is no better time for startups to enter one of most important consumer markets in the world.  The policy allows unprecedented access to an extremely planned and managed economy which sometimes don’t aligned with the needs of foreign businesses.  Starting a new business in China holds all the idiosyncrasies imaginable but like all global landings it will take not only a great amount of perseverance, preparation and intentional practice to make thing happen.  The most important factor that we see with MEIP is that it offers opportunities for us to push for more globalized engagement on numerous fronts to be relevant.  It is now the right place and the right time for those of us who are involved with the globalized innovation and entrepreneurship movement to make some major impact in China.

Because China continues to embrace globalization and realizes that most of the fundamental economic growth, ever since market liberalization was introduced exactly 40 years ago, all derives from global trade.

Huge economies such as China’s also realizes the need for the sustained movement of goods and services so that it can maintain the miraculous and monumental growth that’s been recognized as the “China Miracle.”
