Stephen Rivas Jr

Stephen Rivas Jr is an engineer at Netflix who works on Content Platform Engineering, creating systems responsible for ingesting, curating, and creating the asset-rich catalog that eventually streams its way to millions of users across a broad spectrum of devices. During work hours, he's helped implement React.js & Node.js solutions for internal user interfaces that handle large volumes of data and complex workflows. These patterns have helped a number of teams increase productivity in the face of growing complexity. Outside of work he enjoys family time, dad jokes, playing iOS games, binge-watching a few Netflix Originals, and the occasional (opinionated) tweetstorm.
