Bartosz Sokoliński

Managing Director for Innovation and Technology at the Industrial Development Agency JSC. Advisor, investor, visionary. For over 15 years he was a co-owner and president of a group of marketing and IT companies. He founded the first crowdfunding platform for the third sector - Fundujesz.pl, a socio-political think tank - Forum Od-Nowa and the movement for better science in Poland - Citizens of Academia. He deals with management, creating visions, supervising strategies, development of innovations as well as training and creative workshops.
He started his professional career while still studying at the University of Warsaw (Institute of Applied Social Sciences), in the international - one of the best and largest in Poland – public relations agency – Alcat Communications Ltd. After two years of working in Poland and the United States, he became head of the Warsaw office. He was responsible for Poland and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. He led a team of several dozen people there.
He completed postgraduate studies with a specialization in PR and press journalism at the Journalism Center run by the American Free Media Foundation. In 1998-2002 he was a councillor in the municipality of Michałowice.
