Monica Ioannidou Polemitis

I spent many years in the advisory service line of a Big 4, but my constant quest for inspiration drew me to more technological paths, leading to my involvement with strategic innovation projects. After 15 years in the corporate world, in 2019 I decided to take a leap of faith and take the lead of a newly launched innovation boutique - MAP Innovation, as its CEO.

I specialize in innovation consulting, assisting large companies adopt innnovation by developing internal innovation programmes and/or cooperating with startups. In this context, I frequently deliver workshops and trainings to C level executives on technological trends, case studies and best practices in dealing with the challenges of corporates (incumbents) in an ever changing global environment. In my personal capacity, I choose to join startups as an advisor, mentor or angel investor when the team or the idea excites me. My passion is to support girls and encourage them to follow careers in STEM, as well as female-led startups through connecting them with investors or potential clients.
