Krzysztof Domarecki is a businessman, entrepreneur and investor with a degree in Law from the University of Wrocław, Poland. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Selena FM S.A., a company that makes and distributes construction chemicals. Selena is among the world’s top three manufacturers of mounting foam, and is best known for its flagship brand TYTAN.
The company has production sites in Poland, Brazil, Korea, China, Romania, Turkey, Spain and Italy. The Group’s range of products is available in more than 70 countries around the globe. In 2016, Selena’s revenues totaled over 1 billion PLN. Selena, which operates its own advanced R&D department, has based its international expansion on the strength of its innovative products. Since 2009, Krzysztof Domarecki has engaged in capital investment, offering financial support to innovative businesses. In 2016, he set up Fidiasz, a fund investing in technologies that offer potential for international expansion. In addition, he shares his business experience, supports initiatives combining business and science, attends economic congresses, gives lectures and participates in university panel discussions.
Krzysztof Domarecki’s non-business interests include philosophy, history and theory of globalisation. Chairman of the Supervisory Board has won a Social Responsibility award in Ernst & Young’s “Businessman of the Year” contest, has been named “Person Who’s Transforming the Polish Industry” by Nowy Przemysł monthly. He received Mayor’s of Wrocław’s Award in recognition of ‘placing Wrocław’s economy in a global network of connections, and creating a recognizable company brand’.
