Karol Duzinkiewicz

Karol Duzinkiewicz is a seasoned engineer with over 15 years of professional experience, specializing in machine learning, as well as sound and image processing. He graduated with honors in 2006 from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology. His career began in a tech startup he co-founded with colleagues, which paved the way for his subsequent work at the Institute of Technical Implementations, where he carried out R&D projects in the field of embedded systems. In 2009, he joined Intel Technology Poland, a subsidiary of the international conglomerate Intel Corporation. During his 12 years at Intel, he had the opportunity to work in international teams on various topics including image processing (3D vision, gesture recognition) and audio processing (AEC, AGC, speech enhancement, noise removal, beamforming, source separation), using machine learning techniques. Currently, for over two years, he has been working with DAC.digital as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, engaged in several R&D projects in the fields of Computer Vision and Audio Processing. His most recent engagements include AI-powered Gaze Estimation and Generative Speech Restoration.
