Julia Krysztofiak-Szopa currently serves as the President of the Board at Startup Poland, the country's biggest technology think tank. Startup Poland's mission is to identify and promote the best regulatory practices and unleash the growth potential of young tech companies. Startup Poland does that through research, education and public advocacy campaigns.
Prior to Startup Poland Julia has been leading growth for Dealmarket, a private equity dealflow platform in Zürich. Before, she had founded a fashion startup Wellfitting Inc., and had served as the first Program Director at Blackbox Accelerator in Palo Alto. At Blackbox she established its unique startup bootcamps, that have helped over 200 non-American founders raise funding in Silicon Valley. Julia studied philosophy and Artificial Intelligence. Her personal mission is to empower entrepreneurs to dream bigger in their early stage startups.
