Ihor Markevych

Ihor Markevych has been Head of Strategy and Business Development at Ukrainian Startup Fund since its establishment in 2019. Ihor is responsible for developing the key programs and projects of USF and the startup ecosystem in general, strategic whole country entrepreneurial educational projects, deep tech agenda, investment and funds attraction, and worldwide promotion of Ukraine as an innovative tech hub. Ihor is a representative of Ukraine at the European Union Horizon Programme committee for cluster Digital, Industry, and Space and is responsible for leveraging deep tech transition and digital solutions to transform Ukrainian and EU tech ecosystems. He is also an MC Member from Ukraine in European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST). Ihor is a lead expert at the biggest tech ecosystem database in Ukraine - Tech Ecosystem Overview. He is a reputable mentor (TSW, WebSummit, Garage48) and a frequent speaker at tech events worldwide. Ihor was a program director of the first Army of Drones Accelerator and Advisor on innovations to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2021-2023).
