Filip Wolski

Filip researches artificial intelligence at OpenAI, a non-profit AI research lab in San Francisco, concentrating on reinforcement learning at scale. His team has beaten best humans at a limited version of popular video game DOTA 2 last August and they continue expanding on that effort. He spent first 5 years of his professional life building automatic trading strategies in top high-frequency trading firms. Before that he was accomplished competitive programmer, having won both IOI and ACM ICPC competitions.
