Emily Gorcenski

Emily Gorcenski is a data scientist and research engineer. Her background in computational mathematics and uncertainty quantification has led her through an interesting career trajectory, touching on aeronautical engineering, biomedical device software development, data science, and data engineering. Most recently, she leads the Data Service Line for Thoughtworks Germany and is one of Thoughtworks' Data Mesh practice leaders. Emily is also a passionate activist and she has created high-profile works of data journalism tracking extremism, including contributions to award-winning reporting.
