Denis Makrushin is the Head of Advanced Security Research at the leading information and communications technology company, where he leads innovation team of top-talented experts focused on designing trustworthy products and services.
Formerly, Denis worked for Ingram Micro as the Head of Application Security. He built and implemented product security program for enterprise-scale platform used by companies from “Fortune 100” list.
More recently, as a Security Researcher with the Global Research and Analysis Team at Kaspersky, the company’s elite security research unit, he was focused on vulnerability research and security assessment of emerging technologies. Based on the expertise, he’s been a founder of Threat Deception venture in Kaspersky Innovation department.
Denis has trained and presented at many public international conferences, including Defcon, RSA Conference, Security Analyst Summit, Infosecurity, as well as multiple closed-door industry events. He holds a master’s degree in Information Security from the National Research Nuclear University.
