Andreea Constantinescu

Andreea Constantinescu is a Managing Partner at Planet First Planet, a growth equity fund based in London, leading the firm’s investment efforts in climate technologies. She is leveraging a 17 year finance career into accelerating the path of development and adoption of climate technologies that can transition our economy to sustainability.

Andreea started her career at Goldman Sachs in New York where she advised consumer facing companies on mergers and acquisitions. Her formative years as an investor were at CVC Capital where she focused on scaling up companies in emerging markets across a variety of sectors. She then applied the same rigorous investment approach at Consulta and LMR Partners, investing in publicly listed companies, with a strong fundamental analysis focus and deep management involvement. In 2018 Andreea co-founded ESGine, a technology platform that streamlined ESG management for the financial services sector.

Andreea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago. Impact is an active area of interest for Andreea. She is a contributor to Icarus Complex, a climate change solution focused biannual magazine, and previously was involved with the CVC Foundation philanthropic efforts in education and equal opportunity.

Andreea’s passion for the environment stems from the ocean, where she finds herself equally at ease surfing waves, scuba diving off, sailing or swimming in a triathlon.
