Agnieszka Mikołajczyk-Bareła

Agnieszka Mikołajczyk-Bareła is an author of datasets, scientific papers, and publications, and a recipient of numerous scholarships and awards. She currently works as a Senior AI Engineer developing LLM-based applications at Chaptr and co-creates the AI newsletter the Keygen, where she leads the "Explained" section. She completed her Ph.D. at the Gdańsk University of Technology on the topic of bias detection and mitigation. As the NLP Team Leader at Voicelab.AI, she led the team that created the first Polish ChatGPT alternative called TRURL. In her free time, she organizes and actively participates in the scientific community: HearAI project focused on sign language modeling (hearai.pl), and the detect waste project. As an ML Expert, she supported the "Susana" project aimed at detecting and reading product expiration dates to help the visually impaired "see", and the "Next Designer" architectural project using AI to automatically generate development plans.
