Agnieszka Łukaszczyk

Dr. Agnieszka Lukaszczyk is a distinguished leader in the space industry. With a career spanning multiple sectors of space governance, she has significantly shaped global space policies and advanced the integration of space technologies into the broader economy. Formerly Vice President for Government Affairs, EMEA at Planet, Dr. Lukaszczyk played a key role in strategic partnerships and public policy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She previously held influential positions at the European Commission, focusing on space policy, security, and Earth observation. Dr. Lukaszczyk’s leadership extends to the NGO sector as the Brussels Office Director for the Secure World Foundation and as a research fellow at the European Space Policy Institute. She has held senior roles with the Space Generation Advisory Council, including Executive Director and Chair. Currently, she chairs the Sustainability Task Force at the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), driving global efforts for sustainable space activities. A passionate thought leader, Dr. Lukaszczyk is an author and keynote speaker, sharing her insights on space policy and security. She holds a PhD in Space Security from the Polish Defence Academy and degrees from top institutions like Oxford University.
