Defending the Front-End
10:15 - 11:15, 18th of May (Thursday) 2017/ TECH PLUS STAGE
for Standard Passes+ only
Historically, the back-end has been the primary focus of web security conversations, and for good reason. But that's starting to change. As browsers have become more powerful, so have our websites. Couple that with our trend of shifting more and more functionality into client-side architectures and the front-end becomes a much more interesting vector of attack. In this talk we'll explore why defending the front-end matters, some of the more common types of attacks, and what standards and tools are available to help us prevent them from happening.
