In this context, an architecture-focused measurement framework helps manage technical debt effectively.
Our methodology aims to measure architecture debt by considering both business and IT enterprise architecture aspects. Rather than focusing solely on individual systems, we assess the architecture debt across the entire organization. This approach provides architects with a “helicopter view,” allowing them to see the big picture, while also enabling a close examination of specific solutions and their impact on architecture principles.
