GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. PROFILE YOURSELF PROFESSIONALLY

To stand out from the crowd, make sure your profile is complete and updated. If you are a startup, make sure your pitch deck is attached. If you are an investor, make sure your investment strategy is well presented. If you are a business representative, make sure you mark all industries you are interested in. If you are a specialist looking for a job, make sure your CV includes all valuable data.

  2. SET UP YOUR AVAILABILITY

15 full days are too much to spend on meetings or you prefer to not miss the keynote speeches on any of our stages? Click on the calendar to set up when you can offer your time to meet other Attendees. You can turn off only some slots each day, whole days or even weeks.

  3. FILTER TO FIND YOUR 100% Match

If you are a startup, investor, and executive pass holder to help you schedule only meetings that make any sense, the matchmaking tool is full of filters. Use them wisely, so you can cut back on time and feel your effort pays back. If you are a conference or basic pass holder, you can filter the database but you can not invite anyone apart from our partners.

  4. BOOKMARK THE ONES

If you are a startup, investor or executive pass holder and you are not sure that you have enough time to meet all people you wish or you want to make a deeper check, bookmark those profiles and come back to invite them when you are ready. If you are a conference or basic pass holder, bookmarking can serve as a reminder when there are a lot of people worth approaching.

HOW TO PREPARE AND MATCHMAKE RIGHT?

general guidance

Hi, my name is Infoshare Matchmaking Supporter. My role is to guide you through the opportunities that the tool gives to participants of Infoshare.
I think you will find it helpful to make the best matchmaking decision.

  1. How to prepare your profile?

Describe your profile with the most exact information. Don't let the investor or a corporate or a potential business partner create a wrong picture of what you are doing before they meet you.

  2. How to find the perfect match?

First of all You need to know who you want to talk to. Your time is precious so don't waste it on bad decisions. Make a list with who you would like to meet. For example: investors from CEE, representatives from corporations, medtech startups.

  3. Preparation before the meeting

When you decide who you want to meet, a good practice is to do some research about that person. See his/her profile on LinkedIn. Search for his/her articles and his/her video presentations. Try to find keywords that would fit to your company and use them during your conversation.

  4. Personalize your communication

Don't forget to personalise your invitation! You are not picking those meetings randomly, are you? To contact the person with whom you want to make an appointment, you can also use the chat that is available in our system.

  5. Prepare key points to talk about

After you have specified with whom you want to meet and send him/her a personal invitation a good practice is to prepare questions that you would like to ask him/her. Then you are guaranteed to receive this information that's important for you.

  6. Building TRUST with a potential partners

Never forget to send the materials you had promised to deliver. Building trust is a long process that is built from very small things. Like appropriate preparation before the meeting, sending promised documents, being on time during matchmaking. Remember this, and you will begin a professional relationship with maybe your future investor or client?

  7. LinkedIn

Remember to send an invitation on LinkedIn after the meeting.

  8. Make Notes

You should take notes! The Human brain will not remember every information that you have exchanged.

  9. What to do after the meeting

Final thing. After your matchmaking meeting you should send a summary of it. Then you will be sure that both sides have the same information.

for startups

How to make a good impression on an Investor? As the Infoshare Matchmaking Supporter I have 6 years of experience (since 2014) in it. Let me help you with that.

  1. Pitch deck template

The first thing that the investor will look up to is your pitch deck. If you don’t know how to make one, you can use the template that you can find here.

  2. First Impression - you have only one chance

Your pitch deck is your business card. How you present your company in it means almost everything for an investor that is looking for startups to invest in. It is also an element of building trust.

  3. Preparing your Pitch Deck

A good pitch deck consists of more graphics and a small amount of text. If you will overload it with text it could be hard to read and understand what you are doing. I recommend the use of graphics to show your strong side, statistical data, key markers.

  4. Myths about the pitch deck

There is not such a thing as the perfect number of pages to describe your company in the pitch deck. You need to be flexible in it and try to find balance between the amount of pages. Even one page can show more than 10 if you use the proper data.

IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT …

To make your profile complete and updated. It increases your chances for more good meetings. Startups can also upload pitch deck so investors have more data for analysis.
