Piotr Mieczkowski

He leads the work of the Digital Poland Foundation, whose mission is to make Poland an innovation center. He is a board member of the European AI Forum - the largest organization of European AI companies (more than 2,000 entities), based in Belgium, and supports the creation of digital policies and strategies as an Expert of the Committee of the Council of Ministers on Digitization in the Ministry of Digitalisation. He has nearly 20 years of experience gained in the TMT sector, including digital transformation, business process modeling, creating programs to support innovation, implementing business strategies, analyzing markets and services, and developing public policies in the new technology sector. He has worked for Cyfrowy Polsat, EY, NCBiR, Polkomtel, Orange Polska, Shell Polska, among others. He has successfully completed over 35 projects for clients such as Orange, Saudi Telekom Company, Solutions by STC, E&, Telenor, T-Mobile, Deutsche Telekom, UPC, Liberty Global, Netia, Multimedia Polska, Vodafone. Piotr has also worked for regulators in the CEE region, e.g. UKE, NMHH, GNCC, SPRK, RRT, and decision makers, e.g. Ministry of Digitalisation in Poland, industry chambers e.g. KIGEiT, PIIT or grant agencies e.g. NCBiR.
