Inez Okulska, PhD is an AI researcher and natural language processing specialist who bridges technical expertise with linguistic understanding. She authored several AI models, tools and dataset. As Senior NLP Research Engineer at Wrocław University of Technology, she applies her knowledge to practical challenges in language technology. Her background combines automation and literary studies, giving her unique insights into how AI embeds, interprets and generates text.
Previously, she directed the Department of Innovation and Technology at the Ministry of Digitization and founded the Department of Linguistic Engineering and Text Analysis at NASK PIB, which she led from 2022 to 2024 - shaping both policy and research in the field.
As co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of hAI Magazine, Inez fulfills her mission to democratize AI knowledge, making complex concepts accessible to audiences beyond technical circles.
Recently she also led the Human+AI Institute's research on generative AI adoption in four countries, including Poland and published report on these findings.
