Boeing, American Chamber of Commerce in Poland
Honorata Hencel is the Managing Director for Boeing in Poland and Ukraine, responsible for integrating Boeing’s commercial and defense operations across 2,400 employees and 4 locations. She represents the company in government and industry meetings and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, is a member of its Ukrainian counterpart, and a Board Member at the Łazarski Aviation Academy in Warsaw.
She joined Boeing in August 2015 as Global Navigation Services Manager, supporting the Global Data Management Department in Gdansk. With 22 years of experience in the technology and aviation industry, Hencel has led multi-national teams and collaborated with airline operators, avionics manufacturers, and software vendors in regulated aviation environments. She is Executive Sponsor for Boeing Veterans in Europe, former president of Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership Europe, and co-founder of Aviation Hub Pomerania.
In 2024, she received the Distinguished Global Leader award from the Society of Women Engineers, was named to INvolve YouTube’s Top 100 Women Executives, and earned the Strong Women in IT title in 2021 and 2023.
Previously, she oversaw IT services for 8,000 employees across Europe, the UK, Israel, and Ukraine, driving strategy and program delivery to support growth and optimization.
She holds degrees from the University of Gdansk, Rome Business School, Gdansk University of Science and Technology, Greenwich School of Management London, and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
