Michał Łuczewski is a sociologist, psychologist, and Polish public intellectual. At the University of Warsaw, he chairs the IDEAS Lab. He specializes in systems approaches to leadership and strategy, integrating Polarity Management, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mimetic theory.
He has served on the National Development Council in the President’s Office of the Republic of Poland and on the Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Council. He is also Vice President of the “Poland: Great Project” Foundation. Łuczewski is the editor of a recent special issue of State of Affairs on the New Sociology of Leadership, exploring the moral and spiritual dimensions of leadership.
A former Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University and a Tischner Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, he is also the author of books on the global struggle for moral capital and the globalization of solidarity. As the Founder of LEAD. School of Experiences, he has spent more than two decades designing and delivering leadership programmes across Europe and the United States, including at the University of Oxford. Most recently, he has introduced IFS group formats into men’s circles for entrepreneurs.
He also takes pride in his canoeing journey from Warsaw to the Baltic Sea.
