Andrzej Danek

Broadway storyteller turned music-tech founder

SPINERO

Andrzej Danek is a composer, musical director, storyteller, and music-tech founder who spent over two decades inside New York’s creative ecosystem — including 10 years on Broadway.
A graduate of City College of New York, he worked on productions including The Color Purple, Memphis, Motown: The Musical, and Violet. He worked on Shakespeare in the Park under director Kenny Leon and composed music for Empire, one of television’s most influential music dramas.
Beyond Broadway, he toured as a performer, served as the minister of music for Harlem’s historic church and collaborated closely with George Faison, the Tony Award-winning choreographer and original creative force behind The Wiz.
He is the founder of Spinero, a geo-aware music discovery platform launching in New York City that reimagines how artists are discovered in physical spaces and real human moments — outside the algorithmic feed.
Alongside his work in music-tech, he coaches performers, founders, and scientists on storytelling, communication, and presence, drawing from techniques developed in Broadway rehearsal rooms, gospel performance, and live audience psychology.
