Alan Aleksandrowicz
Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk
As the Deputy Mayor of Gdansk, Alan Aleksandrowicz is responsible for investments, real estates, architecture, geodesy, building inspections and monument protection. He is a member of supervisory boards of public utility companies (Gdansk Buses and Trams Ltd. and Gdansk Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Ltd.).
From 2009 to 2019 he led InvestGDA (Gdansk Economic Development Agency Ltd.) as its Chief Executive Officer. He also served in the Foreign Service as Vice Consul in charge of legal department at the Consulate General of Poland in Chicago, USA. He held the positions of Head of Business Service Center at the City Hall of Gdansk, Deputy Director of the Department of Civic and Foreigners Affairs at the Pomeranian Governor Office and member of supervisory boards of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, Gdansk Municipal Services Ltd. and Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation .
He was one of the founders of the American School of Law at the University of Gdansk and IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
