Shajan Dasan

Shajan Dasan will describe the challenges in creating a platform (set of software and services in the Cloud as well as inside Twitter Data Center) that helps Twitter Engineers use Machine Learning to solve a diverse set of problems.

Shajan currently works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Twitter. He started his career in Software industry in 1994. His notable contributions include Type Safety system in C# Language and creating Bing Search Index and Web Crawler for Microsoft. He has worked on Distributed Systems for the last 16 years in the area of Machine Learning Platform, Distributed Storage, Search and Distributed Video Transcoding.
