The future is multicore!

Supercomputer-worthy memory and core counts start to surround us. "What can it do" is the obvious follow up questions. 
"Microservices" aside, the equally as important problems become "how", and "how efficiently", given tremendous power hunger of global compute.
We will talk about how performance, distributed systems, multithreading are connected, and mention some solutions known from the 70s.
