If you think you are making most of the decisions in your life consciously, you're absolutely right! You only THINK you are.
It is estimated that the market for recognizing and predicting emotions will soon be worth 20 billion dollars. That shouldn't be surprising. Emotions arouse viewers' sympathy and tie them to the brand, which makes it easier to sell the product. As Simon Sinek wrote in his book - companies should start introducing their services with WHY, not with WHAT they sell.
