Meet the first speakers of Infoshare 2021

It's time to reveal our cards and give you more details on Infoshare 2021 agenda. We're excited to introduce the first 28 speakers. They are top-notch experts who will deliver their speeches in Gdansk, 14-15 October.

David Polgar

ALL TECH IS HUMAN

 

 

David Ryan Polgar is a pioneering tech ethicist, Responsible Tech advocate, and expert on ways to improve social media and our information ecosystem. He is the founder of All Tech Is Human, an organization committed to building the Responsible Tech pipeline by making it more diverse, multidisciplinary, and aligned with the public interest. In March 2020, David became a member of TikTok’s Content Advisory Council, providing expertise around the delicate and difficult challenges facing social media platforms to expand expression while limiting harm.

The main throughline throughout his work is that we need a collaborative, multi-stakeholder, and multidisciplinary approach in order to build a tech future that is aligned with the public interest.

Craig is a Software Engineer from New Zealand, working at Spotify in Stockholm. He is JavaScript/Front-end Developer with several years of experience in developing large-scale web applications, passionate about mobile and automated testing.

He loves building cool things that help teams build cool things! He also loves punk rock, Disney's Frozen, and his cat Cosy.

 

Ria Thomas

Ria Thomas is the Managing Director of Polynia Advisory, advising Boards of Directors, Executive Committees, and senior leadership of global firms on business-focused cyber resilience. She has over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors in Europe, UK, US, Middle East, and Asia. She provided her in-depth expertise to over 25 global firms during live cyber crises.

Ria spent the first decade of her career with the US government focused on international security issues. Over the last decade, she has headed Cybersecurity and Business Resiliency consulting practices for several private sector firms with a focus on multiple markets. 

 

Lidor Gerstel

Lidor Gerstel is the DevOps Team Leader at MidLink, an experienced trainer, and a certified in AWS Solution Architect. He has been working on CI/CD Projects & Big Data Projects in the Industry Skilled in Kubernetes, Hadoop, AWS, Docker, AWS and Jenkins. As a speaker, he has appeared at Big Data Conference, Jenkins User Conference, and Yalla DevOps.

 

Bartek Pucek

Bartek Pucek is the Strategy & Operations Manager at IKEA responsible for digitalization strategy. Author of pucek.com, a newsletter and a community at the intersection of business and technology. Everything product-led, community and API-driven, web3 enthusiast and angel investor.
He was awarded the Digital Shapers 2020 title as one of the leaders of digital transformation in Poland. Education and constantly challenging oneself are high on his list of principles; it’s no wonder then that he graduated from Stanford University School of Business and Harvard Business School.

 

Piotr Konieczny

Piotr Konieczny, a security expert, has been helping the largest Polish and foreign companies in securing their networks and websites for 15 years. He graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University. Piotr is multiple winner of awards for the best speeches at the largest Polish conferences devoted to IT security, winner of the prestigious Digital Shapers 2018 award of Forbes and Business Insider magazines. 

He is the founder of Niebezpiecznik.pl, a consulting company consulting IT projects in terms of security.

Panga of business in Janina Daily, a limited to zero liability company. Her book Statistically speaking. How much chocolate do you need to eat to win a Nobel Prize? sold in 100,000 copies in a year.

Janina will deliver her speech in Polish. 

 

Espen Myklebust

Espen Myklebust is a FinTech preacher and a startup enthusiast. Still studying at the University of South-Eastern Norway, he co-founded the MedTech company Testr Medical that aimed to solve the global diabetes epidemic.

Later, he graduated from the Hult International Business School, where he co-founded (and was a Vice President of) Hult Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Club, and became the Country Manager and Product Owner at Revolut,  heading the growth of Revolut in the Nordics. Currently, Espen works as Chief Commercial Officer & Head of Product at Astat, “Norway's first truly customer-centric bank challenger.”

 

Ivar Grimstad

Ivar Grimstad is the Jakarta EE Developer Advocate at Eclipse Foundation and the PMC Lead for Eclipse Enterprise for Java (EE4J), as well as a Java Champion and JUG Leader based in Sweden. Besides advocating the Jakarta EE technologies, Ivar is contributing to the Jakarta EE specifications. He is also one of the specification leads for Jakarta MVC and represents Eclipse Foundation in the JCP Executive Committee.

Infoshare is the biggest tech conference in CEE and creates an ecosystem that combines new technologies with business. Every year, thousands of participants come to Gdańsk—startups, investors, corporate representatives, programmers, and marketers, among others. Infoshare brings a solid dose of knowledge and inspiration—several hundred leading speakers from around the world, nearly 150 presentations and workshops, and several thematic stages each year.
Infoshare 2021 will be held at AmberExpo in Gdansk & online on October 14-15. The event is being organized in cooperation with The City of Gdańsk (main partner), Live more. Pomerania, Huawei, and more partners.
